Below is a list of activities that will be held by the W.V.C.C over the coming months.
Everyone is welcome to attend and can be assured of a good time and plenty of climbing.
We encourage car- pooling, as this is good for your pocket and also the environment. If you plan a climbing trip at any time, put it on the official trip
calendar and you will have the benefit of club insurance coverage for that time listed.

Western Grampians. The aim is to camp at Buandik and climb in the Red Rock pinnacles area.
Red Rock, see link to climbing guide, does not have many easy climbs, so if we get some beginners coming we may also climb at
Brim Springs. See North Grampians guide.
Other crags within range of Buandik are also possible.
Watch out for kangaroos and wallabies on the way over - there were lots about a couple of weeks ago.

Red Rock, Mt. Cole Camping at Chinaman camp ground. If you are coming from Ballarat
turn right just after Buangor township onto the Buangor Ben Nevis Rd. When you get to the big T-intersection
in Warrak turn right onto the main Mt. Cole road. After 4.4 kms take a left turn into Chinaman Rd. The
campground is 700 mts down this road. Bring water. |
